About The Event
Join us on the second day of our 2025 ten events in ten days series. Each day is a separate event and you can enter these as an individual event.
You can wish our intrepid Ten In Tenners good luck as they set off on their challenge.
Distance & Time
This is an 8 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 5km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7km) and you can run as many or as few of these laps as you wish in the 8 hour time limit which starts from the official event start time. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available.
Course
The course along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable all year round.
Medals & Pins
As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive our fantastic medal. We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement.
Goody Bag
Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners.
Aid Table
We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table.
Special Event
If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Also, if it is your birthday run then again please let us know as we have a fabulous special birthday number for you too.
Venue Facilities
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ which also has a great cafe. Bag drop is next to the start finish line but is unmanned meaning items are left at the participants own risk.
Car Parking
There is a nearby pay and display carpark and some free parking in certain nearby streets.
Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up
Final race day instructions will be sent out via email 4-7 days prior to the event with full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event.
Other Information
Headphones are allowed on the course. Our running events are help on public footpaths, which means other path users will be on the course.
